As a follow up to my announcement post, here are the details for the tryout process. The Junta of myself, Culla, AJ, Dave Lipson, Ben Zelnick and Andrew Keely will be making all roster decisions. We will have three weekends of tryouts and 2 tryout tournaments with a roster hopefully finalized by Boston Invite.

Tryouts will be on the following dates: Apr. 26, May 10/11, May 17/18. This will include participation in spring and early summer tournaments:
WMO: May 24/25
CUT IV: June 7/8
Bos Invite: June 28/29

PS The name of the new team will not be the Noiseslingers, nor will it have anything to do with StarCraft

After two amazing and highly competitive seasons, the Gunslingers have decided to merge with perennial regionals team New Noise. As is always the case, the Northeast region will be very competitive in the 2008 season, but with 3 bids to nationals it will be more competitive than ever. Because of our desire to be competitive and as the Gunslingers and New Noise realized that we have a lot in common, the decision was made by both sides to merge.

This season we will be holding open tryouts like both teams have in years past, and will form a yet unnamed new team. We are looking for athletic and dedicated ultimate players who want to be a part of a fun and competitive team with high aspirations. We will be participating in a several tournaments over the course of the summer including Cazenovia, Boston Invite and many more.
